Cloud Security Engineer – Azure

What are we looking for:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Engineer with a strong background in cloud security, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing and enhancing cloud security, assessing risks, and implementing effective remediation strategies to safeguard cloud environments.

• Work Schedule: Hybrid (on-site in Prague with the possibility of partial remote work)
• Location: Prague, Czech Republic

• Work Authorization: Due to legal requirements, this role is open only to candidates legally allowed to work in the European Union.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and support to IT support teams on vulnerabilities and security best practices.
• Manage and enhance cloud security for Microsoft 365 and Azure, focusing on access control, identity management, and tenant security.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security and compliance risks across the cloud environment.
• Develop and implement remediation strategies for identified security issues.
• Troubleshoot security configurations and conduct detailed log/audit analysis.

Experience and Background:

• Strong understanding of cloud security configurations, particularly network security within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
• In-depth knowledge of Privileged Identity Management (PIM), tenant security, and cloud platform security policy management.
• Expertise in network protocols and services (FTP, HTTP, SSH, SMB, LDAP).
• Proven experience in identifying and assessing cloud security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security roles.
• Excellent communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).

Differentiating Qualifications:

• Understanding of Microsoft Cloud role and group management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure security features (e.g., Defender, Exchange Online Protection).
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies.
• Expertise in administering and managing continuous monitoring solutions.
• Experience with Cisco or F5 cloud solutions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, AZ-500, AZ-900, AZ-103).
