We are seeking a highly skilled Data Retention, Archival, & Stranded Data expert to support the Global Data workstream within the Human Capital Management (HCM) Program. This role is critical in managing People & Organization (P&O) employee lifecycle processes, data retention, archiving strategies, and stranded data management, ensuring compliance with Client standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Global Data Workstream Lead in the HCM Program, focusing on data retention, archiving, and managing stranded data.
- Ensure Client retention standards are incorporated into each application within the HCM program.
- Develop and deliver a data archiving strategy for applications within the scope of the HCM program, supporting the retirement of outdated applications.
- Create a Client-approved approach to manage stranded data that falls outside standard integrations but must still be retained.
- Collaborate with P&O CoE leads and SMEs to document metadata elements (definitions, source, standards).
- Assist the HCM Data Quality Lead in planning and delivering data cleansing for relevant applications within the program.
Experience and Background:
- 5+ years in data management within HCM programs, focusing on data retention, archiving strategies, and stranded data management
- 5+ years in developing and implementing data archiving strategies for retiring legacy applications, ensuring compliance with client standards
- Skilled in collaborating with HR/People & Organization teams to document metadata and align data practices with compliance
- Experience in data cleansing for HCM systems, supporting data quality efforts
- Proficient in HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), data governance, and archiving tools
- Strong analytical skills for custom solutions in non-standard data integration scenarios
- Experience in global data compliance with multi-jurisdictional requirements

- Certifications like CIPP or IGP preferred
